Next month is Vivaldi. Do you have any recording suggestions?-Adrienne
The Four Seasons. You can't top it. I liked the recording by Itzhak Perlman when I was growing up, but there are a ton of recordings out there, including many done by period ensembles that use old baroque instruments. Avoid Nigel Kennedy's recording, at least for now. Let the kids hear an accurate rendition before exposing them to experimental interpretations. I'm sure you could find Four Seasons with a heavy rock beat... which is at least a sign of its popularity, if not good taste by modern musicians and audiences!

I heard another recording of "The Four Seasons" on KBSU that I liked by Anne Akiko Myers.
